The Built-In Home Office
Commissioned for a new addition to a home in Amherst, NH.
This client needed a built-in home office that combined purposeful work surfaces with carefully tailored storage, like a dedicated upper-cabinet shelf sized for their printer. I answered with a solid maple slab desk and matching floating shelves: each element crafted to integrate seamlessly into the feature wall and accommodate the client’s specific workflow. The result is a refined, durable workspace where every shelf and surface is both beautiful and intentionally designed to simplify daily tasks; and the keyboard drawer made from box-jointed zebrawood was a nice touch.
